Sunday 9/22 Puttered on the boat most of the day. Took the dangerous path to the town again. This time it was early afternoon and wasn’t so scary. Checked out the few stores they had. Population of 204. Not even a small convenient store. A run down PO/new one too. A bed and breakfast, The famous American Shakespeare store which housed thousands of memorabilia; costumes, books, cards, props from plays and more. A funny place for it. The gentleman who ran the place said they get thousands of visitors a year. Two Mexican restaurants and a store selling Mexican wares for 10 times the amount we pay in Melaque. Stopped at the yacht club for a drink. Met a variety of nice people. The yacht club is filled with derelict boats. One gentleman told us that it was a social club with a sailing problem. We had a good time non the less. There is a beautiful estuary where many kayakers were exploring. Dinner on the boat and our nightly game of scrabble. Monday 9/23 Departed Moss Bay at 10:15. As m...
